Nora Hennings is the Head of Fleet and Facilities for Sunrun Inc., the leading home solar and battery storage company in the US. Under Nora’s leadership, the Fleet and Facilities org oversees Sunrun’s nationwide fleet of thousands of vehicles and portfolio of hundreds of offices, warehouses, and distribution centers. Prior to taking over Fleet & Facilities, Nora was the Senior Director of Strategic Development, where she drove new strategic partnership development and growth initiatives, including EV charging, grid services and virtual power plants, whole home electrification, and other market expansion opportunities. Nora negotiated Sunrun’s partnership with Ford Motor Company, including the design and commercialization of bi-directional charging for the F-150 Lightning. Prior to joining Sunrun, Nora was with NextEra Energy’s Distributed Generation business, focusing on new product commercialization and origination strategy for commercial and small-utility projects. Nora started her career at Credit Suisse on the Commodities Trading Desk in New York. She received her MBA from Harvard Business School and earned her Bachelors in Engineering Sciences from Harvard College. Nora served on the Events Committee and then as Co-President of YPE SF Bay Area from 2017 through 2021. While Nora used to love playing basketball, singing with her family, and skiing in Tahoe (including as a volunteer for Keep Tahoe Blue), her free time these days is consumed by finding all of the best local playgrounds with her twin toddler daughters.
