Michael is a highly accomplished data scientist, entrepreneur, author, and recognized expert in the cybersecurity arena. During his time at Kenna, Michael was responsible for building the company’s core analytics functionality that powered their security metrics, risk measurement, and vulnerability management. He was featured in the Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2017, is a member of the Forbes Technology Council, serves on the board at the Society of Information Risk Analysts, and is also a regular speaker at events such as RSA, Black Hat, SOURCE, Bsides, Metricon, and SIRAcon. Michael is currently a Principal Engineer in Data Science at Cisco and was previously the Chief Data Scientist at Kenna Security before they were acquired. Prior to that, he founded Dharma, a cloud-based data management platform, and TruckSpotting, a mobile app for tracking food trucks.
