Lora is currently serving as the Global Head of Talent Development for a publicly traded ed-tech organization headquartered in Silicon Valley. She has enjoyed 9 years there solving complex learning challenges and creating strategies to upgrade educational efforts which drive business forward. In this role, she has scaled internal learning programs for more than 2,000 employees across 7 countries.

Lora has sought out experiences to partner with organizations which have education as a cornerstone of their missions beginning with her college internship, Lora spent a summer in Kenya assisting a non-profit organization that provided education and vocational training for women. She continued pursuing education-based programs, building and scaling corporate intern, early career and PhD rotation programs. Currently, she leads a team in the high growth ed-tech space, focused on bringing education equity to learners.

Through her time leading the Talent Development function, Lora has seen what the power of effective learning experiences, development opportunities and coaching programs can do to not only improve business outcomes, but also further inclusion and synergy across a company. She has a unique background being able to not only run gap needs analysis, create, and gain stakeholder support for a Talent Development strategy, but also execute and assess its success based on metrics.

Lora prides herself as an authentic and results-driven Talent Development leader who has direct ed-tech strategic and operational experience, which benefits her wide network. She enjoys partnering with a variety of companies, especially early stage and high growth. Lora is a certified coach, trainer, and HR practitioner. In her free time, she enjoys mentoring emerging professionals, participating in the local PTA, and is active in her son’s elementary school.
