Director of Product Management at Shopify
I am currently Director of Product Management at Shopify, where I have been building and launching multiple 0->1 products for Shopify app developers since August 2021. I have a BS in Mathematical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and multiple patents and honors in building software. Before joining Shopify, I was a Group Product Manager at Meta (Facebook and Instagram), where I led Privacy at Meta Reality Labs, conceived and shipped messaging interoperability across the apps, and built a developer platform used by every team at Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and more. I also mentored senior product managers across the family of apps. Prior to that I was the VP of Product at Atlassian reporting to the CTO. I am a highly technical PM who loves the intersection of technology and design with communities of builders. I have built platforms, developer tools, marketplaces, enterprise, consumer and new communities. I also love the human side of technology and spend a good amount of free time learning about what makes people creative. My mission is to create products that empower developers and users to build, share, and connect in meaningful ways.
