Joey’s career spans over two decades of excellence in cybersecurity and organizational leadership, including roles as CISO at UST and Vroom, where he built and executed comprehensive global security programs, fostering cultures of resilience and innovation. At The Standard as Deputy CISO, he redefined the cybersecurity program vision, while his tenure at PwC saw him advising Fortune clients and leading crisis management efforts. Joey’s leadership has been honed through high-stakes environments, such as serving as Vice President of Security Operations at CGI and earlier in the United States Marine Corps. His people-centric approach and military discipline continue to inspire global teams and drive business value. Joey is also an accomplished scholar, currently pursuing an MBA at the prestigious University of Texas McCombs School of Business. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from American Military University and has furthered his education at George Mason University. At Xerox, Joey leads the global information security program, leveraging his extensive experience to protect systems, mitigate risks, and enhance business operations. Joey enjoys traveling and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through functional exercise, running, mindfulness, and eating well. One of Joey’s favorite hobbies is off-roading with his son and friends at off-road parks in Texas and Moab, Utah.
