CPO, Group Procurement Director at Tesco
Charles Letizia has been serving as Tesco’s CPO – Group Procurement Director since June 2019. In his role as CPO, Charles oversees Procurement for Goods and Services not for resale for the UK and International divisions. Prior to his current role, Charles was Chief Procurement Officer for WindTre, Generali and Cable & Wireless and also served as an expert consultant in McKinsey’s Procurement Practice in Europe. Early in his career, Charles spent 15 years in multiple Procurement/Supply Chain roles in AT&T and Lucent Technologies (now part of Nokia) spanning several global assignments most notably in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and the United States. Charles is valued by his peers as an authority in procurement & supply chain strategy, restructuring and transformation, and is recognised in the industry as a sourcing leader with a focus on cost management and procurement excellence.
