30+ year career in Global technology sales with increasing responsibility. Led hyper-growth at Riverbed as first in sales $0 to over $800M and most successful IPO of 2006. Part of team that sold Nicira to Vmware for $1.25B, started Anaplan’s team in the Americas and focused initial effort on Quota and Territory planning which set up $10.4B acquisition by Thoma Bravo, more than doubled sales by attacking the enterprise market at Nimble Storage prior to being acquired by HPE. Led Couchbase from $65M ARR through IPO as CRO. Began career selling tee-shirts at rock concerts and sporting events.
