Yvette Bassan is a customer-centric marketing leader with over 15 years of product marketing experience across various B2B SaaS verticals. Her expertise lies in helping organizations breakthrough the noise by defining their competitive edge. She has one foot deeply steeped on the GTM front where she partners effectively with GTM teams to enable sales and execute marketing campaigns that drive growth and customer retention. Her other foot is working with product, where she serves as thought partner in helping shape new solutions and products and bringing in the Voice of the Customer as a guiding force. She currently is the Founder and CEO of YSB Solutions where she applies her product marketing expertise to help companies unlock their next stage of growth. Prior to launching her own consultancy, she served was the Senior Director of Solutions Marketing at Amplitude, where she help transform the company’s go-to-market strategy and selling approach from feature-based to value-based selling. Yvette led cross-functional work streams across brand, growth marketing, sales and customer success to effectively reposition Amplitude’s brand from a single analytics product to a full digital analytics platform, increasing win rates among enterprise deals and displacing legacy incumbent competitors. She also redefined Ampltiude’s vertical marketing strategy, working with marketing teams and sales enablement partners to craft compelling marketing campaigns and sales plays for financial services, retail, and B2B Saas verticals. Prior to Amplitude, Yvette served as Senior Director of Global Product Marketing at Tala, where she established and scaled the product marketing and lifecycle marketing functions, growing the team from 2 to 7 globally-distributed PMMs. Tasked with helping Tala enter into new markets through the launch of new products, Yvette led GTM strategies and creative product launch campaigns that significantly improved user engagement and reduced customer churn. At Cornerstone, Yvette held several product marketing roles, including supporting the Cornerstone for Salesforce application, revamping professional services, and spearheading Cornerstone’s positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy to enter the SMB market. She is recognized for her role in helping launch the company’s first product-led growth initiative, developing a successful self-service offering that enabled significant market penetration into the micro-SMB segment. She managed an integrated team responsible for customer marketing, brand, events, and public relations, working across North America, Asia Pacific, and European markets. Yvette holds an M.A. in Communication, Culture, and Technology from Georgetown University and a B.A. in Political Science with Honors from the University of California-Irvine, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude. Her proven track record of influencing stakeholders and driving business outcomes makes her a valuable asset in the fast-paced world of B2B SaaS. Yvette lives in Los Angeles, CA with her husband and two children. On her free time, she hikes, plays soccer, and travels.
